The crushing thing was that after I quit I calculated the amount I had spent in the 30 years I smoked and it totaled to the price of a new vehicle. Not a cheap new vehicle, but a nice luxury liner.

Really a moot point though, my x-wife would have pi$$ed it all away and she was most of the reason I smoked.

She actually quit smoking just so she could nag me because I smoked! She started back up the day we split up.

When I remarried and had the heart attack I quit.

The late wife was very supportive and came up with several alternatives to a cigarette when the cravings struck.
