That's no where near enough land to support those numbers weather you are farming or trying to live off the land, if the shtf in the UK an enormous die off is inevitable simple as.

That's nearly an acre per person, although much of that land is unsuitable for growing crops. A huge problem is the lack of housing where the arable land is, out in the sticks we have loads of land and few houses, one of my neighbours has 400 acres with just one dwelling on it, whereas in the towns people are packed in like sardines.

I think we need to start looking at the planning laws to let more people build smallholdings.
