RE: prospects of survival for todays society
MAD has always been the reason we do not do things. We are scared of the consequences. That is what makes Iran so scary. It doesn't. For them all to die in a nuclear fireball is something they look forward to.
That is also why our society is going downhill. No punishment. When you get off with things because of something that happened before you were born that means you have nothing to fear. Therefore nothing stops you except yourself and when no morals are put into you as a child then nothing stops you until one day you turn 18 and bam.
