Anyone on here have any experience in infrared light and possible harm to the eyes?
Since watching the video below the other day, I've been trying to get to the bottom of some of he's claims,.....assuming that the sensor on the screen of a phone is just there to unlock the phone/sense that a person is looking at it, can the constant flashing of such an invisible ray for hours each day damage the eyes?

any constant flashing light can damage the eyes.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

It all depends on the power used. They can permanently damage the eyes but in this case there isn't that much put out by these little LEDs. Beware some of the little lasers you can buy though. I have a couple that can damage the eyes.

I just wouldnt chance it, it just isnt worth the risk.

My daughter got one of those spaceman light projectors and apparently the layers on those are bad for your eyes ...no warning on the box...Good old china .
