No idea of the frequencies. I do know that I had two identical lasers. They looked exactly the same but the frequency was slightly different . One could damage the eyes and the other wouldn't. I don't use either of them now.

I agree with the don't take chances consensus here. Even if the person says its OK they may be using kit that is out of spec.

Apparently they burn the retina of the ye but your brain fills in the gaps so you don't notice. It is only when it gets so bad your brain can't fill the gaps in do you notice missing items and it isn't reversible.

Scumbags use them on drivers and pilots because they can do so from afar and have little risk of being caught.

Our eyes are precious, sight is our most important sense, protect them at all cost.

We now have wrap around goggles and sunglasses in our EDC/GHB’s.

I have plain goggles and I have tinted goggles, our eyesight is precious, dont take chances, especially in a post SHTF world.

cant say I've ever seen a laser light but bright early summer sun rise can be blinding.
