Applied with st johns ambulance, hopefully will get to train with them, bit easier than kidknaping a medic when tshf
Today has seen me back into the stores to start kitting up again.
Big-ass bottle of camping gas (for winter power-cut fun) Small-ass bottle of camping gas (for the BOB) New compasses (one for me, one for her) Keyring tin-openers Keyring torches Flint and Steel (for her) and 2 vegetarian (for her) MRE's. As you can tell, I'm getting everything ready for her. We're building up her EDC and GHB, working towards the BOB. I was looking for CERT (Community Emergency Response Team.....but might just be American) or SRT (Search & Rescue Team) groups when I was over in Bristol, but was super busy. Still am, but it is something I keep meaning to look into. I've just applied to a 'local' search and rescue team. Not sure I'll get in though.

Wanted to add tins of Swede turnip to stockpile as its a good veg for many meals and blended with carrot makes a nice mix on a sunday dinner. Found two places selling tinned Swede both in Scotland, one has a defective website that would not let me register the other was just to expensive at £2.20 a tine !!!!, So still looking for affordable tins of Turnip.
