Cell phone privacy gadget ( not cheap)

Duh whats the point of this?

The pouch is a faraday cage that apparently blocks trasmissions from the cel phone.

So if you want to make or receive a call the phone has to be removed from the bag and is immediately trackable.

If the bag blocks transmit and receive, why not just turn the phone off, as that will make it untrackable as well.

When in the bag the mobile phone will be using more power than usual as well, as it strains to pick up weak cellphone mast signals.

Great £55 for a gadget that simply emulates the on off switch on the phone, and which also ensures the phone battery discharges at the fastest possible rate.

LS, Many modern phones can be turned on remotely to silently listen in to your conversations. The On/Off switch won't stop that. In addition many still record your GPS coords while the phone is off. That is why people will spend £55 on this.

To save £55 take the battery and sim card out or carry around in a metal cash box. Don't expect too many interuptions.

How old is your phone? This has been going on for years. Hell, even cars have phones installed to allow you to contact emergency services. See Die Hard 4. No not the bit about the F35 going under the bridge. The bit where they steal a car.

Cell phones in cars have been standard emergency features in US cars for more than ten years
