But what of Social workers ?
#21
he should be a Plumber, an Electrician, a Builder or even a handyman! you cant get anyone these days to do any work for love or money, their just not interested! by the way OH has found a book he might like: Hatchet by Gary Paulsen about a lad who crashes in a light aircraft in the Canadian wilderness who survives with only a hatchet-hence the title.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

I feel sorry for him, game design is really hard to get a job in. I have a couple of friends who've 1st class degrees in the area and have been trying to get in for years. I understand it's reasonable money if you can get in though. Maybe he'll have more luck or have a change of heart. I imagine he plays a lot of games?

Naaaa providing you are doing it in your own time using your own PC its practical research, its only wrong if you are sat in a Council Office, Town Hall, School room, Hospital, Tax Office, etc during works time. Smile

but sorry I'm derailing the thread

Naaa I prefer to edumacatify my son rather than just bully him to my way of thinking, much shouting, tears, door slamming (and that was just me). I've never followed banning things when explaining why I'm dischuffed so much usually works best. But then if that doesnt work I can always belt him round the left lughole with a wet halibut.

As for you being a teacher dont worry about it, if we dont eat you we will educate you enough in the real world to get you a good post (non union) in a private school or we will hire you to home school our kids, Thats what I've got you pencilled in for after TSHTF Smile

I'm here during work time.

Having said that, I have many helpful skills, and I work on the private sector for a huge company. So they probably don't care.

My sales team are kicking butt, and I'm working hard at least 5 hours of an 8 hour day. So really it's probably about right haha.
